Kalima Book Store

The Kalima Project, a landmark initiative by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to revive translation in the Arab world and foster a culture of reading in Arabic. To spotlight their collaboration with Rakuten Kobo, we created a visually compelling 3D video that announced the availability of Kalima’s translated books on the Rakuten Kobo platform. This video, featured prominently at Gitex on the main screen, served as a bridge between Kalima’s cultural mission and the modern digital audience, blending heritage with innovation to captivate and inform.

Challenge & Solution

Challenge:
Presenting a centuries-old mission of promoting Arabic literature through a cutting-edge 3D video format while catering to a diverse Gitex audience of tech enthusiasts and culture advocates. The video had to be informative yet concise, visually captivating yet aligned with Kalima’s cultural ethos.

Solution:
We designed a dynamic 3D visual narrative that seamlessly blended Kalima’s rich cultural heritage with Rakuten Kobo’s technological edge. The animation highlighted the ease of accessing Kalima books online, showcasing key features and benefits while maintaining a polished and contemporary aesthetic. Our team worked meticulously to ensure the video embodied the project’s vision and resonated with the tech-savvy audience at Gitex.
